Emotional Transformation Therapy (ETT)

Emotional Transformation Therapy (ETT) is an advanced form of psychotherapy that uses light, color, and eye movement to help people process and heal emotional distress. It was developed by Dr. Steven Vazquez and combines elements of psychology, neuroscience, and energy therapy.

What is Emotional transformation therapy? (ETT)

ETT® can be applied as a unique or complementary treatment.
ETT® may therefore be offered as a stand-alone therapy or together with other evidenced-based trauma therapies as EMDR.

Both ETT® and EMDR therapy techniques promote reprocessing by means of deconstructing and restructuring of emotional neural networks in the brain. Clients find empowerment in their processing by means of adaptive knowledge and resources. The brain's networks then reconsolidate adaptive information and learning, hence generating long-term, beneficial change.

Color and Light in ETT

ETT uses a special device that emits precisely calibrated colored light into the client’s eyes. • Different colors are believed to interact with specific emotional states and brain functions. • The light is directed while the client focuses on a particular emotional experience or memory.

Why light and color?

Light and color stimulate the optic nerve, which connects directly to the limbic system—the brain’s emotional center. • This stimulation is thought to help the brain reprocess emotional pain in a way that promotes healing and balance.

Conditions It May Help With:

• PTSD and trauma

• Depression and anxiety

• Grief and loss

• Emotional numbness or overwhelm

Rooted on interpersonal neurobiology and neuroscience, ETT® includes visual brain stimulation. ETT® uses several kinds of visual brain stimulation combining up to four modalities with complementary processing:

Multidimensional Eye Movement (MDEM)

Spectral Resonance Technique (SRT)

Peripheral Eye Stimulation (PES)

Light Emitting Device
